Do you have empty wine, liquor or beer bottles/cans? If you take them to the landfill they are recycled. A better choice is to return to the Beer Store in Minden and the refund can be given to the Food Bank. In lieu of that, you can bring your empties to the Minden Community Food Centre at 24 Newcastle Street, Minden and place them in the outside grey donation box. Our chairman is willing to turn them in for a refund to raise money to feed the hungry. Thanks for making a difference in advance!
